1. Does Cryotek cover the Reseller/Therapist/User for personal liability and professional indemnity?
No. The manufacturer, Cryonic Medical, has insurance to cover a manufacturer against claims that result from a malfunction of the device. Cryotek has insurance cover to cover its employees. 3. How is the effectiveness of the NCS treatment evaluated against conventional cryotherapy using ice?
The effectiveness of the treatment depends on the condition being treated and varies according to the person or animal. Cryonic Medical reports 75% success in acute conditions and 50% success in chronic conditions.

The effectiveness of the treatment is measured on 5 factors:

1)Relief from pain. In the case of humans the measurement can be subjective or compared with drug intake. In the case of animals pain is checked by palpation.
2)Inflammation is checked by observation and with the Thermolaser.
3)Oedema is checked by observation.
4)Haematoma is checked by observation.
5)Mobility and movement is checked by flexion of the joint and by observation.

The NCS treatment is more effective than ice application because of the Thermal Shock factor. The treatment results in a faster recovery than with ice.

5. How does the technique treat the deep tissues?
NeuroCryoStimulation doesn't treat the deep tissues directly with cold. The induction of Thermal Shock produces a deep vasomotor effect in the blood vessels in the deeper tissues. This controls the enzymes which cause inflammation ,pain and swelling.
